About this experience

Come back in time and experience the luxurious lifestyles of the 19th-century Dutch aristocracy!
Museum Willet-Holthuysenis an archetypical canal house which shows the best of Amsterdam's Golden Age in the 1600s, when the house was constructed.
Visiting the Willet Holthuysen's large collection of art and historical artifacts will feel like walking into another world!

It is regarded as one of the earliest private collections in the Netherlands and this Wunderkammer is precisely as Abraham Willet and his wife Louisa Holthuysen left it in 1895.
You will admire historical paintings, sculptures, books, photos, ceramics - and even weapons!
But the house itself is a masterpiece in its own right. You will love the beautiful Louis XVI style ballroom and gentlemen's parlor, as well as the fine French Classical style garden which is a refuge of serenity, right in the heart of Amsterdam.
Louisa Holthuysen's last wish before dying was returning the house to the City of Amsterdam and made open to the public.
And, after120 years, it still is!
Do not miss this chance and visit this unique fragment of the past!
Book now your skip-the-line ticket and discover the Museum Willet-Holthuysen.
