About this experience
Explore Athens and its surroundings with our panoramic tours!
With the Hop-on Hop-off Plus ticket, you can roam around Athens, Piraeus, Glifada, and Vouliagmeni.
Our Hop-on Hop-off panoramic buses are the best way to enjoy the whole Athenian metropolitan area and move around.
There are four different lines, the Orange Line, the Blue Line, the Yellow Line, the Green Line. Each line covers a different area but they are well connected to each other and you can easily switch your itinerary!
The Orange Line
This is the line that goes around the center of Athens. The main attractions are the Acropolis and the Parthenon, but you will also pass through the Gate of the Hadrian, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the National Archaeological Museum, the Hellenic Parliament and so on.
The Blue Line
South of Athens, you have the Piraeus, known for its port that is the chief port in Greece, the largest passenger port in Europe, and the second largest in the world!
Our blue line will take you around this town (that is, actually, just the southern part of Athens, because they are connected seamlessly), where you can admire both the new port and the old one, called Paşalimanı which was the Ancient Athens military port.
The Yellow Line
Glifada is the first part of the Athenian Riviera and you can reach it with the Blue Line that is connected to the Yellow one in the east. Just one hundred years ago, this whole area was just a desert and now is one of the most cosmopolitan areas of Greece! Enjoy a sunset at Marina Flisvou or swim at Agios Kosmas! But you can also “bath in culture” and head to Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, a wonderful complex in the bay which includes new facilities for the National Library of Greece and the Greek National Opera, as well as the 210,000 m² Stavros Niarchos Park!
The Green Line
The last part of the Riviera is called “Vouliagmeni”.
Here you have wonderful beaches as well, places like Kavouri Oceanis, one of the most popular in the whole country. But Vouliagmeni is much more. You can visit the Byzantine Museum and the Allied Forces Cemetery: two places that remember really important periods for the history of the Greek culture and European culture as well.
