We will walk around elegant squares such as Plaza de España, Plaza de Oriente, Plaza de la Villa, and Plaza Mayor. We will cross monumental bridges like Puente del Rey and Puente de Segovia: one of the best panoramic spot to admire the Royal Palace.
We will also pass by Puerta de Toledo, Puerta del Sol, Las Cortes, Plaza de Neptuno, Atocha, Paseo del Prado, Puerta de Alcalá, Alcalá street, the Retiro’s Park. We will also see the Las Ventas Bullring, where the iconic "corrida" happens and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, where one of the best football team in the world plays.

Then it will be time for the Royal Palace visit.
This majestic building has scored some records in its own league: it is the largest functioning Royal Palace, the largest by floor area and the best-preserved one in Europe.
It was built during the XVII Century by the Habsburg dynasty, following a Baroque-Italian style. The Royal family did live permanently here between 1765 and 1931. Nowadays, a lot of Spanish Crown related activities take place here: dinner parties, diplomatic audiences and the traditional ceremony of the Credential Letters, when foreign ambassadors present themselves to the king.
The palace has over 3.000 rooms. We are not going to visit everything, of curse!
