You will meet Giorgio in his Atelier.
Giorgio is an expert mask-making artisan who works in this trade for years. He is a true Venetian master of masks and inside the Atelier you will travel through time and space, discovering the old and mysterious tradition of Venice Carnival!
Giorgio and his family keep alive the most antique and fascinating arts of Venice, the mask making. You will quickly recognize his unbelievable skills and lovable passion: it's normal if you are carrying out a four-generation artisanal activity. Learning from the best, you will be able to make your own mask, following the tradition lectures! He will teach you in the ideal way to paint and decorate a traditional mask.
During this class, you will choose a mask to be decorated.
Giorgio will show you the old techniques and you will be able to reproduce it, following his tips. After the end of the course, you will leave your mask there, in the atelier, so the colors can dry. Then, you can come back bring your mask home with you. A special souvenir for a special holiday in Venice!
