About this experience

Join our morning walking tour of Venice and meet the true soul of the city!
You will meet your qualified local guide in the heart of the city and the experience will begin. We will start from St. Mark’s Square where you will see the Doge Palace, The Golden Basilica, Bell-tower, discovering the mixed aesthetic of Venice.
Then you will follow your expert guide through the maze of narrow streets called “calli", reaching some of the most significant points of interests of the city such as Santa Maria Formosa square, the Teatro Malibran, the Basilica di San Giovanni e Paolo, known as the Venetian Pantheon and the famous “Mercerie” streets, where locals go to do some shopping. The last stop of our tour will be at Rialto Bridge with its traditional markets and San Giacometto Church which was the first church in town, tracing back to 1000 A.C.
The Rialto district was the principal commercial center of the Venice Republic where merchants from all over the world used to come to trade their most exotic goods.
Our guide will tell you the unique and enchanting history of this place while showing you the major monuments of the area.

Join this memorable experience inside the history and the legends of Venice!
After the tour, you will have the chance to visit a glass factory close to Saint Mark’s Square, where you will meet a real craftsman and see him at work. This is an optional free experience and you can book it at the end of the tour.
