A tour for adults and children to discover the origins of the most imposing amphitheater in the world: the Colosseum! It took almost ten years to erect the Colosseum, which hosted the famous fights between brave gladiators and animals. The amphitheater could hold up to fifty thousand spectators. In a fun and interactive way, we will explore the inner depths of the Colosseum to learn about its structure, the history of the subterranean levels and more. Becoming characters of Ancient Roman for a while, children will understand in an engaging way, the history of the magnificent Flavius amphitheater and anecdotes (for instance, how Roman citizens could sit in, according to their social status). With the tikidoo's learning materials, they will also learn about Roman numerals! After visiting the Colosseum, the tour continues to the Roman Forum, centre of the political and social activities for over a thousand years. At the end of the tour, the young participants will be given crowns similar to the ones worn by the emperors, and an outlined drawing to be completed. How? Just by following their own inspiration and the stories narrated by our tour guide.
