Access to Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter's Basilica is permitted only to visitors dressed appropriately (shoulders and knees must be covered).

Remember to bring your ID with you. If you booked a ticket for a student, please remember to bring a valid student ID and ID with proof of age (must be 25 years or less) or else a full adult ticket will have to be purchased upon entry. We suggest you not to bring large bags or backpacks with you: it is obligatory to deposit in the cloakroom suitcases, backpacks, and containers with dimensions larger than cm 40 x 35 x 15, and non portable umbrellas. Also Strollers are not allowed in the Basilica and must be left at the cloakroom at the entrance of the museums.
